To create a new exclusively suite with its own unique designing flair in the form of art, color palettes and decoration? We will do it! – That’s what the five-star hotel "SAFMAR Palace Moscow" responded to this question and implemented this project.
The word “suite” means not only “a hotel room of upper category”, but also “an enfilade”. These both meanings are combined in the new suite, located on the 7th floor of the «SAFMAR Palace Moscow» hotel.
This feature of this suite allows it to be easily transformed in different sets of rooms depending on the guests' wishes. Due to the enfilade layout, the rooms can be "assembled" into a single large area reminding a Lego constructor.
This interconnected group of rooms arranged in a row with each room opening into the next provides sound proofing and high level of comfort.
The total area of the transformable suite is 125 sq.m. and it’s divided into a large living room with a modern well-equipped kitchen, two comfortable bedrooms, a cozy private working area with a bay window, a sofa and a large vertical folding bed. Each room has its own exit, a hall with a wardrobe, and a bathroom. Therefore, when the interior doors are closed the suite is transformed into separate hotel rooms.
The successful design solution offered by Roman Tutushkin, the architect included in the rating of “The 100 best architects and designers in the Russia”, combines well thought out functionality, as well as comfort and coziness.
Large bay windows, abundance of daylight and ceiling lighting, a pastel palette of colors give the transformable suite lightness and airiness.
The interior harmoniously integrates elegant chandeliers, original sconces, perfectly matched curtains and carpets in a blue-gold color mix, stylish paintings and brass details - all of it creates the effect of a "Home Away from Home".
“It became necessary to create a large easily adapted suite as we worked with the feedback from our guests,” - says Anna Pavlova, the hotel General Manager. «We went to meet our guests’ requests and built this transformable suite as we see sustainable growth of people travelling with kids. It is very important for large families to find a suite with a kitchenette and a spacious dining room and the expect their suite to provide such features as a stove, oven, dishes, and also two or three bedrooms. Our new suite fulfills multiple functions and activities within the same area and allows guests to gather together at a large table in the dining room enjoying home atmosphere of comfort and warmth."
